Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions

Considering booking a Rolletic or manual massage, but have a few questions? Dorothy compiles and answers the questions most frequently asked by new clients visiting our Finchley studio.

Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions

Is Rolletic massage painful?

The first session can feel intensive, similar to the muscle soreness felt after a good workout at the gym, as the wooden rollers stimulate tight muscles and fascia. However, it should never feel sharp or painful. Dorothy will guide you on how to adjust your body weight against the rollers to maintain a perfectly comfortable, therapeutic pressure.

How many sessions do I need to see results?

While every body is unique, most clients report feeling lighter, energized, and notice improved circulation after their first session. For visible skin firming and cellulite smoothing, a course of **8 sessions** (at 2-3 sessions per week) is highly recommended. Visible changes typically become noticeable around the 4th or 5th session.

Can I have a treatment during pregnancy?

Our mechanical Rolletic Body Shaping and Chinese cupping treatments are not suitable during pregnancy. However, our specialized **Pregnancy manual massage** is completely safe and highly recommended for expectant mothers during their second and third trimesters to ease back pain and ankle swelling.

Where is your studio located and is parking available?

Our peaceful studio is located at **49 Granville Road, N12 0JG, North Finchley**. We are situated directly opposite the Finchley Memorial Hospital, making us easy to find. Street parking is available in the surrounding residential roads.
