About the Treatment
After abdominoplasty, gentle lymphatic massage supports fluid drainage through the treated area. The massage is performed very gently at first, and is crucial for recovery.
Sessions start with very light pressure and progress carefully as healing allows, working alongside your compression garment. Surgeon clearance is required before post-surgical treatment begins.
Unfortunately, most surgeons in the UK do not routinely advise post-surgical lymphatic massage. Without it, recovery often takes longer, feels more painful, and results may not be as good. We are working with clinics across London to change that.

To protect your health and safety, this treatment cannot be performed if you have any of the following active conditions: Active infection at the surgical site, unhealed wounds, acute deep vein thrombosis, congestive heart failure, active cancer treatments, or lack of surgeon clearance.
